Location: Somewhere between the city and the suburbs. Tools in hand. Mind focused. Train humming beneath me.

That’s me—Myrin New—in the photo above, making the most of one of my favorite productivity rituals: working in motion. While many wait to get home or to the office to “start their day,” I get ahead while the wheels are turning beneath me.

🧠 The Power of Uninterrupted Transit Time

There’s something unique about time spent in transit. No distractions. No back-to-back meetings. Just forward motion and an open mental canvas. It’s during these rides that I sketch ideas, reflect on strategy, and respond to deeper messages—not just notifications.

This particular ride? I was charting out a new project, syncing across devices, and tuning out everything except clarity.

🛠️ My Mobile Productivity Kit

  • 📱 iPhone 16 Pro – My command center. Notes, Slack, AI tools, camera, everything in one.
  • Apple Watch Series 9 – Tracks my vitals and keeps me moving, even while sitting.
  • 🎧 Apple AirPods (2nd Gen) – Seamless audio, whether I’m in a call or zoning in with lo-fi beats.
  • 🔌 Multi USB-C Charger – Plugs into the train’s AC outlet, keeping all my gear powered and synced.

Each item plays its role. The iPhone captures and creates, the Watch nudges me toward balance, the AirPods build a soundscape for thinking, and the charger makes sure I never run out of juice—physically or creatively.

🚀 Lessons from the Ride

I’ve learned this: productivity isn’t tied to a desk. It’s about finding rhythm—wherever you are. Some of my best ideas, strategies, and drafts happened somewhere between two train stops, surrounded by movement and minimal distraction.

If you spot me like this—focused, stylus in hand, surrounded by Apple gear—it’s because I’m not just riding. I’m building.

Where others wait to arrive, I’ve already begun.
